Coaching & workshops

Work through your real loop, with David.

In coaching you learn CRI5 on your own situation, not on examples, until you can run it without me. For teams, a morning gives everyone a shared language for the thing they were already doing.

Everything I teach, I learned by needing it. An idea could be perfectly clear when I was calm and almost useless when I was hurt, afraid, or attached to an outcome. I wanted something I could use when the light went out. CRI5 is that.

Three ways in

Choose the door that fits.

I

The Walk

For
one recurring loop that books have not changed. A relationship, a decision, a replay, a habit.
What happens
we walk your situation with the five questions, together at first, then with you leading. We find the demand, meet what it has been protecting, and return the choice to you.
Format
intensive at the start, lighter by the end. Length and cadence set with you.
You leave with
the pattern named, and the method in your own hands.
II

The Room at the Top

For
leaders carrying weight that does not show.
What happens
the same method on the loops that run inside a role. The decision you keep deferring. The person you cannot let go of. The calm you perform in every meeting.
Format
a steady cadence that fits a working calendar.
You leave with
a way to stand in the role without the role standing on you.
III

Workshops and Teams

For
a team, a practice, a founders' group, a congregation, a club.
What happens
the map, the pattern everyone will recognize in themselves, and one real situation walked in the room.
Format
a 90-minute talk, a half day, or a full day. A four-week follow-on cohort when a group wants to keep going.
You leave with
a shared vocabulary for what everyone was already doing.

More on workshops ↓

Length, cadence and fee are set with you on the call, once I know the situation. Every application is read by me.

Workshops

A morning that gives your team a shared language for the thing everyone was already doing.

Every team has a loop. The decision that will not close. The person everyone works around. The calm being performed in the room. CRI5 names it, in words people can use with each other afterward.

What a session covers

The map: three territories, one of which is yours. The pattern underneath most conflict and most stalled decisions. The five questions, in the short form you can use between meetings. Then one real situation, offered by the room, walked in the room.

How it starts

Three steps.

1

You apply

Three questions about the situation, what you have tried, and what would be different in six months.

2

I read it

Every application, personally.

3

We talk

If it is a fit, fifteen minutes. No pitch. We settle length, cadence and fee on that call.

Questions people ask

Before you apply.

Is this therapy?
No. I am a coach, not a psychologist, and CRI5 is a self-application method. It works on the present and what you do next. Where something needs a clinician, I will say so, and that is not outside the method. It is one of its clearest moves.
How long does it take?
The questions take minutes once you know them. Learning them on your own life usually takes weeks, not months. We set the length on the call.
Do I have to read the book first?
No. The book is for readers working alone. Coaching is faster because it is on your situation from the first session.
What if I am not sure which to choose?
Book the fifteen minutes. That is what it is for.
